Few Highlights

  • Dr. BB Gupta published a paper named as “A survey of phishing email filtering techniques” in IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials having impact factor 17.18 (Highest in all Engineering Discipline).
  • Ph.D. thesis of Dr. Varun Gupta titled “Object Oriented Static and Dynamic Software Design Metrics” has been chosen by ACM as a Resource Material in the area of Software Engineering.
  • A group of final year (IT) students is working on a real life project GPS LOCO tracking by Indian railways under the guidance of technical officers of south western railways.
  • Students got fellowship under DAAD research program for German Universities:
  1. Deeksha Agarwal (B.Tech., 3rd Year, IT, June 2015, TUDarmstadt, Germany)
  2. Prerna Kashyap (B.Tech. 3rd Year, COE, June 2016, at Free University, Berlin, Germany)

 

NIT Kurukshetra is one of the premier technical institutes of the country. Founded in 1963 as Regional Engineering College Kurukshetra, the institute was rechristened as National Institute of Technology on June 26, 2002.
