Dr. Ankush Vashistha is an Assistant Professor in the department of Electronics and Communications Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, Bharat. He holds a Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has served as an Assistant Professor at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, India. Prior to which he was working as a Research Officer at Future Communication and Translational lab for 5G, a national lab funded by Infocom Media Development Authority (IMDA) Singapore, where his role was to set up a research and development 5G communication lab focusing on a translational collaboration with Industries. He has also worked as a research scientist in Temasek Laboratories Singapore, a research lab funded by Defense Science Organization Singapore where his role was to design signal processing algorithms for defense applications. His current research interest is in the areas of Embedded system(s) for Robotics and drone applications, wireless communication, specifically indoor and outdoor 5G based positioning, and Reflective Intelligent surfaces. He belongs to a village “Peepla” near Jaipur, Rajasthan, Bharat.
