BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Ghanapriya Singh is working as an Asst. Professor (Grade I) in Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra since Nov 2022. Prior to this, she was working as an Asst. Professor (Grade II) in Department of Electronics Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand since 2013. She has received her Ph.D. degree in Signal Processing from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. During her research at IIT, she was working on a project with STMicroelectronics, Santa Clara, California, USA. Her research work done at IIT was also showcased at CES, USA that is the largest consumer electronics show. She is an Inventor on 5 granted US patents and a European patent. She has also recently filed an Indian Patent. She is an Investigator in multiple projects funded by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. She has authored in high impact factor SCI indexed journals. Her current research interests include Context awareness, Computer Vision, Bio-Medical Signal Processing, Speech Processing, Signal Processing for IoT, Deepfakes and Edge AI.

Dr. Sambaiah Pelluri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, India.
He holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad (2008), an M.Tech in Electronic Design and Technology from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut (2010) and a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee (2021). Prior to joining NIT Kurukshetra, he has worked at Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research, Andhra Pradesh, for four years after completing his Ph.D.
During his doctoral research, he focused on Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) filters. His current research interests include RF/Microwave circuits, Microwave Passive components, Analog and RFIC design.
Dr. Suman Nelaturi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, India.
He holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad in 2006, an M.Tech in Embedded Systems from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada in 2011, and a Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal in 2018. During his doctoral research, he focused on Metamaterials based Circularly polarized dual and wide band Microstrip Patch Antennas.
Prior to joining NIT Kurukshetra, he has worked at Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research, Andhra Pradesh, for 6 years 7 months after completing his Ph.D. His current research interests include Microstrip Patch Antennas based on Metamaterials, Active Electronic Scanned Arrays, Synthesis of Antenna Arrays using optimization and Machine Learning Techniques.

Dr. Varun Kumar Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, India.
He holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida, M.Tech and Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) BHU, Varanasi. During his doctoral research, he focused on fabrication and characterization of thin-film based semiconducting devices for various electronics and sensing applications.
Prior to joining NIT Kurukshetra, he worked at SRM University AP, Andhra Pradesh, for 1 year after completing his Ph.D.. His current research interests include Analog and Digital VLSI design, Semiconductor Device Modelling, and fabrication and characterization of thin-film based semiconducting devices.
Image processing ( image forensics and image restoration), Computer Vision and Deep learning with applications of object detection in agriculture, solar and aircraft defect analysis, language script recognition and semiconductor neutron detection.
Dr. Gourav Prateek Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Electronics and Communications Engineering department at the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, India. From December 2024 to July 2025, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the ISE division (School of EECS) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden for two years. He received his Ph.D. from IDLab, Ghent University in June 2022, where his dissertation focused on developing and analyzing optimization algorithms for efficient resource allocation in telecom and media broadcast networks. His current research is centered on time-sensitive networking (TSN) and its integration with 5G/5G-Adv networks. He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from NIT Srinagar and an M.Tech. in Optoelectronics and Optical Communications from IIT Delhi.

Dr. Ankush Vashistha is an Assistant Professor in the department of Electronics and Communications Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, Bharat. He holds a Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has served as an Assistant Professor at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, India. Prior to which he was working as a Research Officer at Future Communication and Translational lab for 5G, a national lab funded by Infocom Media Development Authority (IMDA) Singapore, where his role was to set up a research and development 5G communication lab focusing on a translational collaboration with Industries. He has also worked as a research scientist in Temasek Laboratories Singapore, a research lab funded by Defense Science Organization Singapore where his role was to design signal processing algorithms for defense applications. His current research interest is in the areas of Embedded system(s) for Robotics and drone applications, wireless communication, specifically indoor and outdoor 5G based positioning, and Reflective Intelligent surfaces. He belongs from a village “Peepla” near Jaipur, Rajasthan, Bharat.
Dr. Dablu Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, India.
He received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from RGPV Bhopal in 2011, and M.Tech degree in ECE (Communication Systems) from NIT Patna, India in 2015. He completed Ph.D in ECE (Optical Fiber Technology) from NIT Patna in 2020. His current research interests include Multicore fiber, and Fiber optics communication & Photonics, Wireless communication, and Microelectronics (PCB Fabrication & Semiconductor devices).
Prior to joining NIT Kurukshetra, he worked as Assistant Professor (Level-10) at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agriculture University, Pusa, Bihar for 4 months, and 10 months at MITS-DU Gwalior. Earlier worked as Assistant Professor (Temporary) at NIT Patna for 3.5 Years, and 1 Year at HMRITM Delhi. He has teaching experience of nearly 6 Years.
