Brief Research Profile

Dr. Dilbagh Panchal is currently working as Assistant Professor (Grade-I) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, Haryana, India-13119. He has worked as Assistant Professor (Grade-II) in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering, Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, Punjab, India-144011. He works in the area of Reliability and Maintenance Engineering, fuzzy decision making and supply chain management. He obtained his Bachelor (hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, India in 2007 and Masters (Gold medallist) in Manufacturing Technology in 2011 from Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, India. He has done his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India in 2016. Presently, four PhD scholars are working under him. Eleven M. Tech dissertations have been guided by him and many more are in progress. He has published 30 research papers in SCI/Scopus indexed journals. Thirteen book chapters have been also published by him under reputed publisher. He has edited eight books in the area of his expertise and many books are in progress. With this fifteen international conferences have been also attended by him. He is the life member of various societies like ORSI, Kolkata, ISTE, New Delhi and IIIE, Mumbai. He is associate editor of International journal of system assurance and engineering management (Springer Publication).
