Adopting a community-based approach, the Security Section works to prevent crime, assist victims, and investigate incidents in collaboration with campus authorities and law enforcement agencies. It partners with departments such as Works and the Health Centre to ensure a safe environment for students, faculty, and staff, enabling a positive academic and social experience. The section also works closely with student representatives, faculty, and staff via the NIT Employees Union, Officers Association, and Faculty Forum.
