B. Tech Degree

The department has been offering B.Tech. Degree Course in Computer Engineering since 1987 with an intake of 33 students. A sound theoretical and practical work prepares the students in wider field of Computer Engineering to take up challenging jobs in the area of :-

The department has also offering B.Tech. Degree Courses in Information Technology since 2006 with present intake of 84 student.

There is 100% placement of all students through campus and our students are   placed in reputed IT companies like Microsoft, IBM, TCS, HCL, Hughes, Perrot Systems, DRDO, CMC, VSNL, Wipro, Google, CDOT, Satyam, Oracle, HP, Samsung, Infosys etc.

M. Tech Degree

M. Tech. Degree Course in Computer Engineering (part-time) has been introduced from 1996 for sponsored candidates of the NIT, Kurukshetra.

M. Tech. Degree Course in Computer Engineering (Regular) has been introduced from 2009.

Degree of Doctor of Philosophy

Facilities for research are offered in the department on various topics leading to Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering.

HP ML 150 Server – Processor Intel Xeon 3 GHz, 1GB RAM, RAID 1 HDD 36 GB x2 with DAT Drive, DVD Combo Drive running Linux – One Nos.

Acer Altos Server – Processor Intel Xeon 3 GHz, 1GB RAM, RAID 3 HDD 36 GB x3 with DAT Drive, CD Drive running Windows 2000 Server – One Nos.

Desktop Computers – Intel Pentium 3.0 GHz with HT, 40 GB HDD, 512 mb ram, DVD Combo Drive, 1.44 MB FDD, 17″ Flat Monitor – Five Nos.

Library Facilities

The department has its own library (shared with Electronics & Communication Engineering) having more than 2000 books in different areas.
